How To Feel Great

Everyone wants to feel great all the time but not everyone knows how to. This article will give you the simple method used by so many people to feel great all the time. Sounds funny I know but it really is a simple formula and I want to share this with as many people as possible because at Spotlight, we want everyone to own the Spotlight on them and feel their best at all times. We know what the alternative is and we want to steer everyone in the best direction we know because unfortunately not everyone knows they own their feelings and that is where we start our journey. Feeling great is something you have to intend on doing. Everyone in their possession has the ability to wake up each and every day and say…”Today is going to be great. I am going to be great. Yes, there will be traffic, people with dissimilar personalities, not enough time to finish everything I need to finish, deadlines, line ups, hair pin turns, ups and downs but I will try my best and make sure everyone knows and feels my presence.” Feeling great is something you need to intend on doing. It has to be done with purpose. You have to make this a routine and you can because you do have that ability. Too many people wake up and go, taking the good with the bad and rationalizing their bad feelings to something that is inevitable. Even though there are times when we all feel not out best, we can get out of that quick and start the next moment feeling our best. Being great is a feeling and nothing more. You can feel this by first doing what we talked about above which is working to build up that feeling on your own. With this in place, your mentality should be able to carry you to the next steps. Have you ever heard the saying you are what you eat. Well, I’m here to tell you that you also feel like what you eat. We all know that fatty food and too much sugar only leads to highs and lows. Feeling great all day, every day, requires a lot more than highs and lows. It requires a steady stream of energy. We need to start consuming foods that help our bodies and not hurt it. Yes, after eating some ice cream or a tasty sweet we do all get that sugar high but that disappears fast and it only leaves us craving more the next time. Having a well-balanced diet will ensure you are not depriving yourself but will also help keep you fit which is the next step in this process. Exercise! The best way to keep fit is simply to eat well and exercise. We can discuss the benefits of exercise for hours and hours but the point is, exercise will help you feel great and attractive! Exercise releases those feel good hormones and chemicals into your body that provide the steady flow of energy you need throughout your day. The best part of exercise in my opinion is the momentum generated. You know what they say, a body in motion stays in motion. This also applies to your mind as well. Exercise will continue to keep you sharp both mentally and physically. The body and mind heightens when pushed to resistant points and allowed to relax. You can’t push yourself by not exercising, it has to be a must for everyone. So to recap, to feel great you must have a couple things in place. First you have to commit to it. You have to own it. You have to accept nothing less and forget about all the built up physical and mental baggage. You have to let go of whatever is stopping you from not feeling great because we all get one shot at every day and any day not our best is a wasted day. With our mentality set for and ready for a great start we need to continue the momentum by eating well and exercising. The only way to keep the great feeling we work so hard for is to maintain energy levels and a positive attitude. Eating smaller meals more often throughout the day is a perfect way to maintain energy levels so you can exercise and face any challenge with a focused mind and a positive attitude. I really think we sometimes make our lives unnecessarily complicated. Let’s start to simplify our lives and focus on what matters most. If we really prioritize eating well and exercising we will suddenly realize we have time to make both happen. This is all that is needed to start down the path to feeling great and once some momentum is built, you will start to feel like a new person because you will be a new person. You will be someone who encourages yourself to maintain the feeling that has you so pumped about your life. Eating well, exercising and increasing your self-image along the way. Now ask yourself, is there a simpler way to start feeling great? This can really be the start of a whole new chapter for you, take advantage of it and feel great everyday.
