Spotlight seeks to promote a digital online platform and App that is dedicated to the fitness and gym goals of gym members enabling the ability to track progress and reflect on past workouts, plan future workouts, increase awareness of gym members and their brand, learn about gym members within their gym network and community, grow a friends list of gym members they can count on, learn from and add value to, all within an App that can be viewed at all times increasing the awareness gym members have about their fitness levels and goals.
Spotlight is committed to maintaining and ensuring the privacy of gym members by implementing safety and privacy features that can be customized to your comfort levels and needs. When using Spotlight, an account must be created outlining a description of the user. You can decide to input your real name in your account and have a nickname, or Stage Name, displayed as your Username which is visible to Spotlight users. Other information which will be visible to all Spotlight users will be your gender and age range. Since one of the features Spotlight provides is to give App users a realistic idea of who and how many people are at the gym as well as the demographic at the gym, some information will be visible however as discreetly as possible. Your name or Stage Name, gender and age range will provide enough information for Spotlight users to generally identify who is at the gym and which gym they prefer to go to on a particular day or night. The gym member information will be displayed under each gym location within the App. Gym locations that are programmed into the App can be selected and the people at the gym can be viewed once a certain gym location is identified or selected. App users can choose to hide their profile information from the public and make their profile information only available to their friends list, or make their profile information available to the public, the choice is theirs. Profile information will display information about the user such as their workout routines, their past workouts, a calendar of what they plan on working out on during the week and month, their gym and fitness goals, their friends list which will have the user names or Stage Names displayed of other App users, their favourite foods, current interests, current advice for gym enthusiasts and so forth. Spotlight users can also send messages to other App users by selecting their profile and requesting to send a message. Once the message is sent, the message recipient can decide to read the message or delete the message. If the message recipient decides to read the message or delete it, the message sender will not be able to determine if the recipient decided to read the message or delete it. This will ensure messages can only be sent by people who App users want to read messages from. This privacy feature will be disables once App users are on a friends list. App users on a friends list will be able to send messages back and forth without interruption. To become friends with App users and to be on a friends list with App users, a request must be made by one App user to another and the request will be accepted or deleted. In either case, the request sender will not be made aware of the request being accepted or deleted. App users on a friends list will also not be able to publically see profile information of other App users on the same friends list they are on. This is to ensure the privacy of App users is concealed and only accepted App users will be given access to App user profile information. Maintaining privacy standards for Spotlight App users is paramount to Spotlight and further features will be organized at Spotlight evolves as a platform.
