We all know that as time goes on things that are good only become great and still even greater through changes and innovation. We all become resilient, adapted and immune to the same things in our lives over an extended period of time which is exactly why Apple, for example, always seems to have a market for new phones with new and enhanced features. Maybe we don’t realize it but we love innovation. At first maybe we didn’t know we needed innovation in our lives but after becoming susceptible and accustomed to improvements in our lives, we all seem to realize that not only do we love the more efficient and more convenient way of doing something but we actually seek how innovation can help us live our lives faster and with more ease. Innovation through technology has made it easier for traffic lights and signals to communicate with each other and with the public to notify drivers of roads to avoid due to traffic or collisions. Your Google Map App on your phone has become so powerful it can actually act like a compass now and change the direction of the on screen arrow based on which way your smart phone is positioned in your hand. Technology through innovation has made mass improvements in the healthcare industries saving lives and increasing the average life span of all of us. So why not innovate all experiences we have, or will have, to improve them based on our wants and needs? It really is possible to always improve the way we do things to achieve better results. Through technology and the internet, even the most forgettable places, like the gym for example, where innovation once was very limited can exist like never before and can totally revolutionize how things are done and how you can live the experience. It all started when I was searching for a new gym and realized to test drive each of them I would have to visit each of them. Not very efficient or convenient but this was the way it was always done unless you just wanted to settle for the gym closest to you or the brand of gym you were most comfortable with. Now, with Spotlight, there is no need to settle. Spotlight provides updated biographies on the staff and personal trainers at the gym so now you can get a better idea of which gym can serve you best. Spotlight also provides detailed information on gym equipment, facilities and events which will provide you with the information you need to get the best workout possible for yourself and not just a regular workout based on what is available. If a piece of equipment or the space dedicated towards the weight racks is much more preferable at one gym and not another, would you like to know about it especially if you know it can really help your workout routine? I would definitely say yes! Now with Spotlight you can get this information and more to help you determine which gym will suit you best. Spotlight takes all the guess workout of selecting a gym and provides you with all the information you need to decide which gym to visit in any given day. Imagine this, you are at home on the Spotlight App checking out the gym participants at near-by Goodlife gyms and notice a coworker at a Goodlife gym just a few blocks away from the Goodlife gym you usually workout at. You know from the App he recently arrived and the gym he is at is less busy because with Spotlight you can see who is at the gym. You have wanted to catch up with him about a project at work for a while now, so what do you do? You go straight to the gym he is at and say “hey, do you have a few minutes in between sets so we can chat quickly about work, oh and yes I will spot you!” Or what about this, you are at the same Goodlife gym you usually go to and notice someone with great results. You don’t want to intrude on her workout and you are shy to ask but you have so many questions about her workout routines because you want the results she has. You open up your Spotlight App and find her at the gym location you’re at. You send her a message request or a follow request and hope she sees it soon. While she is at the gym working out and making notes within her personalized Spotlight workout details and progress section in her account, she notices the message request and gives you permission to send her a message. You express your admiration for her skills and want to ask more questions about how long she has been working out, what exercises she focuses on and the routines she has at the gym. You also offer to buy her a protein shake so you can sit down with her and take some notes so you can try to mimic her workouts as much as possible in an effort to gain the same results she has. She is totally ok with a quick 15 minute chat over a shake and decides to meet you at the shake bar in about 45 minutes. Or better yet, she invites you to workout with her right away because she empathizes with someone new to the gym just learning and she totally wants to help you along since you just started this fitness journey. Spotlight allows people to create and utilize their community in mutually beneficial ways. People want to create and utilize a community on platforms that provide visibility all over the world which is great but which platform do you think can provide the most impact and chances for mutually beneficial instances other than one at can bring people who live in the same community together. Spotlight is more than followers and likes. It is a community of people all within the same vicinity of each other that can benefit from the real-time real-life experiences we all go through. Why not make the time at the gym truly impactful to yourself and the people around you. Think about it, from my experience, I’ve learned that the average gym participant is at the gym for roughly 8 hours per week. That is 32 hours a month at a place with people who we can impact, learn from and possible create and share mutually beneficial experiences with. These are people in your own backyard and not half-way across the globe that we can grow with, learn with, share with and create with. Imagine the network building opportunities that exist amongst people in the same place that share many similar interests. Where else in your day-to-day are you in such a place? You know at the gym people share similar interests in their health, their appearance, their attire, their stamina, their diet, their motivation, their well-being, their energy levels, their sleep habits, their strength and one and on. People at the gym share more in common than we realize and it’s time to utilize and add to this amazing community. Spotlight is the only place where gym members can socialize and provide valuable information to each other all in an effort to help get to our goals faster. Who else know the struggles, effort and downright pain it took you to get those chiseled arms or to bulk up your lower body to increase your overall strength and confidence? Believe me, not the people at work who just look at you and wonder what supplements you’ve been taking to get so big so fast. Only the people at the gym, who probably know you by face and have been watching your progress overtime, appreciate the work it takes to increase your fitness capacity so why not let them into our lives in a more social level to add to or learn from our experiences. Spotlight is here to celebrate the war stories of men and women fighting for their ultimate physique so lets speak up and add to our community because at one point you need some answers to get to the point you’re at now and the information you need to get to even a higher level is waiting for you somewhere in the gym. Listen to this, we all have personal brands and nowadays some are trying to grow theirs more than others but if your personal brand relates to any business goals and fitness or nutrition is something you are passionate about then use Spotlight to showcase your skills, abilities and strengths all in an effort to help others. Spotlight offers the services that don’t exist now all in an effort to digitize your fitness journey so you can reflect on your progress organized through the App and not wasting time trying to figure remember your fitness journey through the old traditional techniques.

It’s time to be someone at the gym and it’s time to use Spotlight to help improve your workout experience.
